You have the right to cancel your registration for any reason up to three (3) calendar days from the date of purchase. Requests for cancellation of a registration must be made by contacting WebTaught by phone (504) 482-0109 or 1-(866)-482-0109, or by sending an email to customerservice@webtaught.com. The request must be received by WebTaught before midnight of the third calendar day from the date of purchase.

A cancellation fee will be charged to the student to cancel a registration. The amount of the cancellation fee is 10% of the total purchase amount. TEXTBOOKS AND COURSE MATERIALS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ONLY COURSES ARE REFUNDABLE. If a student purchases a course or courses with books and materials, only the course(s) will be refundable minus the 10% cancellation fee.

Course Expiration and Review

All course lessons on the computer must be completed within a certain number of days from the date of enrollment. The number of days a student has to complete a course is stated in the course description of the course upon initial registration. A student will subsequently be reminded of the date they signed up for the course and the course expiration date every time he/she logs into WebTaught. Access to the computer lessons will expire at midnight on the expiration date of the course. You will have until the course expiration date to access and review the course content after you have completed the course.

Course Extensions

At WebTaught, we understand that sometimes life gets in the way of your educational goals. With this in mind, course extensions may be purchased for additional 1-month increments. It is your responsibility to purchase a course extension if needed, not ours. If your course expires before completion and a course extension has not been purchased, you will have to re-register for the course at the full price and re-take the entire course from the beginning.

Requirements To Complete A Course

To complete a course and receive course credit, you must successfully complete the following requirements:

1. Complete ALL lessons in the course by answering each quiz question correctly at least once.

2. Pass the course final examination, if one is required.

3. Complete the course evaluation form in its entirety, if one is required.

Examinations

Some courses require a final examination. These courses require a minimum score of 70% correct to pass the course. Note: Some courses may require a higher score for successful completion.

Some courses may require a proctored final exam. Before attempting the final exam for these courses, a form explaining who would be an appropriate proctor along with an explanation of the entire process should be downloaded under the resources page of the course or on the page leading up to the final exam.

Certificates

Upon submission of the course evaluation form, a certificate of completion will be generated by WebTaught and immediately accessible to the student. WebTaught is only responsible for submitting reports to state agencies that are required from us by law. The student is responsible for filing any and all of the appropriate paperwork to the state agency as required.
